Ken Kaplan founded Kaplan Computers in his basement all the way back in 1991. Kaplan Computers started small and with lots of hard work, honesty and a unsurpassed dedication to customer satisfaction, the company quickly grew. In that initial year Kaplan Computers served more than 350 happy customers. With all the positive word of mouth and unbeatable prices, Kaplan Computers flourished. In 1996 Kaplan Computers moved to its current retail location in Manchester. Now, in 2007, Kaplan Computers has over 35,000 satisfied customers in it's database.

From the beginning it was apparent to Ken that there was a void in the corporate IT services industry. He noticed a shift in the technology marketplace and knew corporations needed an end of life solution for their older information systems and electronics.
